The silicone cover will keep your panhandle at optimum handling temperatures. Just place on the handle as you need to move the pan and it will be cool to touch. (Do not keep on while cooking)

Can I leave it on while cooking on the stovetop or oven?
The silicone is rated to 450F, but we do not recommend stovetop or continued oven use, as the silicone handle will then be hot to touch. If used on the stovetop or oven, some other heat protection must be used before touching pan.
The picture shows a handle split in two to reveal inner ribbing. Can it actually be disassembled like this for cleaning?
No, this is just an illustration to show the internal ribs, the handle is one piece.
Can the handle be used on multiple pan handles?
Yes, it is designed as a temporary cover, which can be used on numerous pans providing the handle dimensions fit.
Does it need to fit over the entire pan handle?
No, just enough of the handle to be able to grip the pan safely, it is still advised to keep some distance from the edge of the pan to avoid burns.
Can this be used on a gas cook top?
Yes, but please keep away from direct flames, as this will burn the silicone.
Use & Care Instructions
Wash in warm soapy water and rinse before first use. Our Silicone Grips are dishwasher safe.
The Sunsella grip is made to reduce the transfer of heat, not eliminate it, extreme caution when in use is recommended to avoid burns, always ensure silicone handle is at a safe handling temperature before moving pan.
Avoid touching hanging hole when in use.
For optimum handling temperature remove and replace the grip as required. Always keep out of direct gas flame.
Your Silicone Handle is designed with a loose fit for ease of removal and fitting so ensure you have a firm hold when moving hot pans to reduce the chance of grip slipping.

Beware of handle slipping from cooking oil grease.
Your Grip is great for moving pans to and from the oven but is not intended for continuous oven use.
Cleaning:
Soak after use where possible. Dishwasher safe or wash with warm soapy water.
To remove stubborn stains or grease from silicone a white vinegar and water soak can be used followed by a wash and rinse or alternatively a baking soda and water mix is also great for cleaning silicone.
